The Koford's: Family

My brother Eric called a little before Thanksgiving and asked if we were ready. Ready for what we asked. He replied for us to come. It was a surprise. We thought they were planning to go to California for Christmas, but they decided to come visit us (and my other brother) for Thanksgiving. I was excited. I was also excited to host Thanksgiving. Wasn't worried about the turkey because in our house we do not have turkey on Thanksgiving...we have prime rib. Well, to spare you a long story filled with some drama:) we went up to my brother Jarrod's house for Thanksgiving. But the next day we had Thanksgiving all over and after I got home from a half day of work, we had prime rib. Let me just say YUMMY!!!! (Wish I had pictures of the food from either day)

It was fun having all the cousins together at the same time let alone the whole family minus mom and dad. The littlest three were all born this year - Luca(Jan), Makenna(March), Max(April). I think Makenna has some chunk compared to the others...but I think Luca would definitely be ahead if he wasn't on the battle with Leukemia(that's another post).

While Eric, Janae, and the kids were here we had some fun. The boys played lots of Halo. The adults played lots of Shanghai (mingled with other games) with lots of laughing! Cousins played.

We went bowling...I won the second game(I believe:))

Eric LOVES Nate's homemade oreos and has had major withdrawals from being away from Nate. He is frequently asking Nate to ship him some:) So Nate made him some...I think he was in heaven.
